In 100 Watermelons, Trevor Todd has tapped into something kids find absolutely hilarious – mess and the unexpected! Steve Page’s bright and silly illustrations with the fun rhyming prose scattered throughout will have your child asking for this book night after night (luckily it’s also an enjoyable one for parents to read). The subtle sustainability message also gives parents the chance to start a conversation about where their child’s favourite food comes from and perhaps even inspire them to plant their own. 100 Watermelons is a refreshing and fun book arriving just in time to brighten summer.’

This chaotic story of runaway watermelons with its equally chaotic colourful illustrations will entertain readers again and again.
